Services
As a company you will be helped with the following services!
Education and training
All role players consisting of the employer, injured worker and doctor must have good knowledge of what is expected of each of them to effectively and efficiently administer work accident claims. We will provide training so that everyone understands their responsibilities and will design brochures which can be distributed.
Employer account management
REGISTRATION OF A NEW COMPANY
We will assist with the registration of a new company by reviewing all completed documents and ensure that the company is registered within the correct asset class and will also assist to de-register a company if it is no longer operating.
ANNUAL RETURN OF EARNINGS
A record of the annual earnings of staff must be submitted by March every year and this will enable the Compensation Fund to calculate the account payable. By submitting it in time we will prevent penalties being issued.
LETTER OF GOOD STANDING
Once the account is paid, we will request the Letter of Good Standing which will prove the account is up to date and this can be used to apply to a contract/tender.
PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT
With the current economic climate, it can be difficult for companies to pay the full Compensation Fund account and we arrange with the Fund for the assessment to be in monthly instalments. This will ensure that the company will have a steady cash flow.
Employee injury on duty administration
In terms of the COID Act an injury on duty must be reported within 7 days and the employer must pay the salary of the injured worker who was booked off for 4 days and more and at least up to 3 months and claim this back from the Compensation Fund.
CLAIMS REPORTING
We will receive, review all completed documents and questionnaires and report the claim on the Compeasy system and follow up until the claim is accepted in terms of the Act
CLAIM REFUND
We will calculate the refund to lodge the claim on behalf of the company. We will identify and possible permanent disability claim to the injured employee.
